Privacy Policy
This policy explains which personal data Contrazta collects when you use this site or get in touch, what it is used for and how you can exercise your rights. We are based in Brazil and follow the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13.709/2018, the LGPD). It works together with our Cookie Policy.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller is Contrazta, the creative studio of Luciano Camara, in São Paulo, Brazil (contrazta.com). For anything about your data, write to hello@contrazta.com.
What data we collect
Data you send us. This site has no contact form. When you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to send: your name, email or phone number, your message and any project material you share.
Browsing data. Like any website, our server logs some technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and the date and time of the visit.
Audience measurement. The site uses Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how it is used: pages visited, time on the page, where the visit came from, clicks and device type. It only turns on after you accept the "Analytics" category in the cookie notice, and you can change your mind at any time. We also use Google Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google Search (queries, impressions, clicks); it does not place anything on your device.
Videos. The project videos are hosted on YouTube and Vimeo. Their players only load when you press play; until then, the site shows its own preview images, so nothing is requested from those services. From the moment you press play, they may collect data under their own policies.
We do not ask for sensitive data (such as health, religion or biometrics) and the site is not aimed at people under 18.
What the data is used for
- Answering your message and preparing quotes.
- Delivering the work you hire us to do, and invoicing it.
- Keeping the site secure and understanding, in general terms, how it is used, to improve it.
- Complying with legal, tax and regulatory duties and defending our rights if there is a dispute.
We do not sell your data and we do not use your contact details to send advertising without your permission.
Legal bases
We process data based on your consent (for example, Analytics), on a contract or on steps before one (such as a quote you asked for), on legal obligations, on the regular exercise of rights and on legitimate interest, always respecting your rights, under article 7 of the LGPD.
Who the data may be shared with
Only with those who help us run the site and the work, and only as far as necessary: hosting and email providers, messaging tools (such as WhatsApp), Google (Analytics and Search Console, and YouTube for videos), Vimeo and accounting providers. Data may also be shared when the law requires it or by order of a competent authority.
Some of these services, such as Google, may store data on servers outside Brazil. In those cases the transfer follows what the LGPD requires.
How long we keep data
Data is kept for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Contacts that did not become a project are deleted when they stop being useful, or earlier if you ask. Client data is kept during the work and for the period the law requires afterwards. Your answer to the cookie notice stays in a cookie on your own device for 12 months.
How data is protected
We use technical and organizational measures, such as a secure connection (HTTPS) and restricted access. No system is completely free of failure but, if an incident that may put you at risk happens, we will tell you and notify the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD), as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the LGPD, you may at any time:
- confirm whether we process your data and have access to it;
- correct incomplete, wrong or outdated data;
- ask for anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data or data processed in breach of the law;
- ask for your data to be transferred to another provider;
- find out who the data was shared with;
- withdraw your consent and ask for deletion of the data processed on that basis.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@contrazta.com. If you think your rights were not respected, you can also contact the ANPD. If you are in another country, you may have similar rights under local law, and you can use the same email.
